I'm a bit intrigued as to how many people AM employ that end up with their names under your bonnet. Do they just check one model range or do they run from one production line to another with a fistful of plaques eager to assert themselves as chief inspector?

I'll kick it off

Must be a myth, the name 'Gough' isn't aerodynamic enough for the one-77 laugh

Mick Freeman, 2009 Vantage. I wonder if it would be usefull to track the inspector to cars that had issues. So far mine hasno had any!
This is a good point as, without naming names, there is at least one PH member on here that had issues on delivery. But what exactly do they inspect? The paint finish? The interior? The engine?

Dont worry. Any car built before 1978 didnt get them either. A marketing gimmick thought up by one of the bosses of the time, Alan Curtis
You mean that you aren't able to phone the inspector in question and personally tell him that he's screwed up?

This 'gimmick' could have so back-fired. wobble

The lucky few have these:
AMG engines have the same idea, being tagged with the engine builder's name on them.

My DB9

Looks like 'Rob' was sacked John.......any issues with the DB9?

ETA - As Rob only seems to have appeared on one plaque, the above comment was made tongue in cheek and isn't based on any factual information. Just thought I'd clear that up smile
