That's the way to do it!
Damn right..In the past I've always looked at the folk in the vans, and thought "you lucky buggers"... Make a brew when you want, have a snack, even have a shower to freshen up....
Well now it's my turn colour TV.... 3 quarter bed all made up, full oven, fridge freezer, microwave, full en suite Honda generator for 240v.... It's better than the Ritz...

I have just spooted a massive problem with your fridge!!!
Not nearly enough beer
The thing is mate..... I don't drink..... It doesn't agree with some of my meds..Not nearly enough beer
But.....on the bright side..... There's fillet steak, jacket tatas.... Stir fry chicken, sweet n sour pork Prawn salad.... Oak smoked Ham, top side of beef, garlic mushrooms, eggs, bacon, fruit salads, Danish pastries, trifle, Brie, Harlech cheddar with horse radish, double gloucester, Shropshire blue, water biscuits, marsh mallows, worthers originals.... And some other stuff I've forgotten about...
Now that should see me through Saturday, but god knows what I'll do for Sunday and Monday
Always like to see Josh doing well..... But this time I'm really going to shout for Stuart. .. After what that lads been through, he deserves a result...
I've seen Nori at Oulton before... He's quite exciting... In fact I was there when this happened right in front of me

I was in the lodge corner area.... To be honest George you'd have struggled to get in... They had security on the gate, and we're checking passes....
I believe they've really clamped down due to the number of thefts....the lads behind me had loads of stuff nicked last year
Oulton ain't that far from Liverpool and Manchester.... And lots of folk in white vans with very little interest in racing, have ensured a step up in security..
What about Walker then.... the old dog

Nah.... He's not as quick as me..... Although I did buy a "Wanted for furious speeding" GM T shirt.... Very funny, got a dity on the back about punishment being 6 whacks from the birch across his bare buttocksCompetitors camping huh? Aston owner? you are guy martin AICMFP!
Anyway a few random pics from the weekend
This is Asher Durham... Just turned 13 and up from mini Moto...
Josh getting it on
Alex Lowes getting low
Josh with the fans.... He was brilliant, he stayed for anyone who wanted a photo or an autograph... Loads of kids having their photos taken with him...
Same with Stuart... He looked a bit tired though... I'm sure he's not 100% yet after his massive injuries
Josh again, suspension fully bottomed out
And this chap Nitro Nori....

What about Cadwell Park at the end of August? Best track ever!
Worth going just to see Josh Brookes go over the mountain!
It's the other side of the world..... And besides Oulton is the best track ever..Worth going just to see Josh Brookes go over the mountain!
I'm not greedy, I've had a brill weekend, so I'm happy for now...
Oh by the way.... I'm an official fan of Joe Francis in the 125 class....he was parked next to me, and helped me level the van
He had a heavy fall on Sunday, but got up dusted himself down and finished 7th in the race... He's only 14...And aiming for the Spanish championship if he has a good season in BSB
He wrecked his gloves so I gave him a few quid towards a new pair he was dead chuffed... Does that make me a sponsor

In your camper you can go to the other side of the world though! Cadwell > Oulton I'm afraid too
Are you at Oulton for BTCC? Might have a look over for that
Btw, you can sponsor me if you like when I take up track days later in the year! £1200 for some Dainese leathers would be a massive help
You mean the Honda cup... BTCC my arse.... I used to go when there were more than 3 manufacturers.... But if I'm honest I find all car racing boring....and I certainly wouldn't pay money to watch it....Are you at Oulton for BTCC? Might have a look over for that

I do like the Irish Tarmac rallying though
As for sponsorship, I only support riders with talent..... But seriously... I wouldn't be wasting my money on Dainese... They're ok for fashion victims, but if you want protection.... BKS...

I had a look at some BKS ones, but they don't have elbow sliders
On a more serious note, I thought Dainese were some of the best leathers you can get? Or so I've been told.
Let's put it this way them.... And see if it sinks inOn a more serious note, I thought Dainese were some of the best leathers you can get? Or so I've been told.
When I had a load of mates doing club racing, and track days... And they were all just ordinary working lads, whom had to be ready for work on Monday morning.... They all wore BKS or Crowtree...
The road riders, weekend warriors, and fashion victims wore dainese
I'm sure that dainese are fine on the road, where you have a big off, the quality of the leathers is probably not that relevant...
No matter how good they are, they ain't gonna stop you hitting a tree, car, telegraph pole etc..
But on the track, where most tip offs result in sliding down the track on your ear, you want to get up, kick the bike straight and get back out.... You can't do that if the arm has been ripped off your leathers.....
Don't be under any illusion that the Dainese that Rossi wears are the same that you can buy...
My friend Gary, must have crashed his ZXR400 10 or 12 times over 2 seasons.... He never got a serious injury, and his leathers never needed even a minor repair.... In fact since he gave up the club racing, he still uses the same suit on his road bike.... That suit is about 10 years old...
