Charity Race Experience Day Snetterton

http://www.charityraceexperience.com/

We are still taking applications for Supercar and Classic cars for the event. If you have either (or both) and would like to offer passenger rides, please visit the website and sign up....please share this with anyone you think might be interested.

If you fancy driving Snetterton and taking passengers for laps, then sign up.

If anyone is in the area of Snetterton on Sunday, come and say hello. Spend some money and get a ride around the track with me (if your brave enough) in Lance and donate to charity wink

I would advise on wearing a helmet at all times with cockers, Tony.

Even if you're having tea and cake with him yes
There is a fighting chance he will buy his own cake though yes

I won't be attending, but is Snetterton a good track to do track days on? I quite fancy doing one there next year.
It is an easy track to drive but Coram driven properly cretes massive tyre wear on left side, so drive it slowly. 2 very fast straights (152 MPH) though ended with very good corners & the famous bombhole.

Well having recovered from the day, I took 21 paying passengers out and raised £1890.00 (£90 per ride).

I used over 2 tanks of fuel, but what a great day. Some of you should come out and give a ride to some very appreciative people and raise some money in the process.

Well done Cockers, good effort! How did the car drive..?

Have done similar for Stroke Association at Combe but noise limits are getting tighter everywhere frown What was the Snetts limit?
The car was awesome, I really now know what the boys at BR have achieved and it is a different beast. Sadly I need some additional silencing as it was static 107 and drive-by 96. The limit on drive-by was 92 frown. However after being warned, the marshal told me where I was to run in silent mode and where I could run whatever I liked biggrin. They especially required the full noise past the pits because a crowd of marshalls had gathered just to hear it go by.....

A quick soundbite from the throttle blip on changing down. Trying to get a drive-by from outside, I have loads from inside biggrin
