Picked up a can of this stuff after reading about it in US forums. It seems to work very well as a brake dust barrier -seems the brake dust is properly repelled and doesn't want to stick to the wheel. I've tried other nanotreatements before and whilst they do make cleaning easier, they don't seem to keep the dust off like this stuff.

I've been using this stuff for a few years

http://www.collinite.com/automotive-wax/insulator-...

Not found anything better
My wheels had it on from new and have done 9k miles so far.
Came back from a recent 4.5k 2 week trip and the wheels came back up to as new with a quick "no rinse" wash
I redo it once a year but I doubt I need to.
Hi mikey,

Yes collinite is an excellent wax and makes cleaning the wheels a breeze. Thing is, the wheel still gets dirty!!!

This armorall stuff prevents the dirt from sticking in the first place so you don't even need to rinse the wheels. I'll try an sort out a photo diary on my daily driver wheels at some point.

I would wait for the bogof at halfords or try and get a caseload of the stuff from Costco. Each canister should be good for 3 applications of all four wheels including the inside of the rim and needs to be repeated monthly.

Whilst cleaning up the alloys prior to applying this stuff, I noticed a fair degree of pitting of the rear of spokes and inner edges. It's tricky but I would advise a thorough clean and application in that area too.

I bought mine from the Harlow branch. Can't vouch for your car still being in the same place on leaving though smile

What an interesting place.
I think it it a marvel of town planning - they made it wide and flat so you can see the muggers from long way away.....

and the mingers.

Of which, I recall, there were very many.
Like all provincial towns there seems to be an inverse relationship between temperature and clothing and fatness......

this stuff last longer, have done my wheels 3 times now in 6 years/60K+ miles

http://gtechniq.com/shop/3s-for-cars/exterior-coat...

they are due a refurb and new tyres soon, and afterwards it will be the first thing I do to them ...
The gtechniq stuff will bond for longer, but I think you are missing the point: Your wheels still get dirty with the Gtechniq whereas the armorall stuff prevents deposition in the first place. I've been driving about for the last fortnight and the spokes just seem to shed the dust. A brief spell of driving in the rain seems to have cleaned off the dust!

I'm using nanolex on the jag wheels as a comparison - I'll compare photos in a few weeks
