Evening all.
I bought a 2005 DB9 a week or so ago from a well known Aston specialist in the Home Counties. I am delighted with the car and it is a joy to drive apart from one thing. I find the brakes a bit underwhelming. By that I mean I seem to really need to stand on them to get any stopping power and they just seem a bit unresponsive for a car of this calibre. As this is my first Aston I can't compare it to anything other than my Merc which has phenomenal brakes with the lightest of touches. The car came fully fettled and serviced by the dealer, including brakes, so I am wondering whether it's just an early DB9 "thing" or should I get them looked at?
Regards

Thanks guys, that puts my mind at ease. Seems as though you have exactly the same situation with your cars. The brakes are more than up to the job, but have a wee way to go to be up to the level of certain other cars. Interesting that the 09 cars seem to brake better with no major mods to the system.
