I know they'll be some that will saying camping is the best option, but I'm done doing a poo in a field. Our trip involves a chateau and a helicopter.

For anyone going down, the Waze app for smartphones seems to be the preferred option for spreading the word on Rozzer movements / activity / locations.

Installed it today and have to say, it's really rather good.

Loving the feature where you can email your location which appears on a map using your Facebook profile picture as a little mobile icon. Particularly useful for keeping jealous friends and colleagues up to date.

Waze is brilliant. I use it for all of my car sat nav requirements.

But don't forget that it needs a 3G data contract to work. That might be something to think about with international roaming charges. Don't forget to sort out a 'data bundle' before you go.

Even if I forget, it'll still work out cheaper than the fines!
