28th June 2014 - Aston Welsh Weekender - 'save the date'

Well it seems it had to happen - looks like there is going to be a 3rd annual weekend in Wales for our fellow Aston owners this summer.

Here's the gist of it: turn up afternoon/evening on the Friday or in time for the drive out on Saturday morning and enjoy your Aston in a magic place - a place well away from motorways and cities, a place where your Aston can frolic wild and free as it's maker intended (yet within the confines of the national speed limits, of course).

Spend Friday & Saturday evening enjoying the banter in person instead of on the forum before departing on Sunday for home with a big smile on your face. Don't worry about the Mrs's reaction to that smile because we hope that she will be there too and grinning equally (even if she chose to spend her Saturday in the spa or the bar rather than the car)!

We have a new venue and we hope to be able to confirm details in a few days time. In the meantime - check your diary 'save the date' w/end of 28th June - mark it down for the Aston Welsh Weekender (WW3)

The possible sight and sound of a bunch of Astons going past will certainly help with motivation!

Very tempting Molly, very tempting indeed, but "she who must be obeyed" insists its Andermatt and Grindelwald.

Can't say I blame her. We get the best of both worlds - we are off to the Alps the following week

Yep, 40 square miles of forest and I'm pretty sure we're the only one.

Yes Jon, we did & yes, the plan is forming The Metropole is well-known amongst petrolheads and they regularly host car & bike clubs so I think they will cope with us.
