Mini Northants cruise & lunch Sunday 4th May
Discussion
Evening all,
The time has come to venture out into the wilderness of Northants again, Sunday 4th May is the date to put in your diaries.
The basic plan is to meet up around 9 - 9.30am and start around 10ish. The route is approx. 100 miles and should take a couple of hours, where we will then stop at a nice pub for some lunch and a bit of a social for as long as you want to stay.

I will send out the route and other specifics by PM nearer the time and book the pub once I have a good idea of numbers. So keep an eye on the thread and hope the AM Gods of sunshine smile on us again .

Hi Jeff - hope this turns out well for you - can't believe you haven't got more people coming along - all talk most of them aren't they
Our reason for keeping our heads down, believe it or not, is mileage. Pearl has done 10,000+ and she's only 11 months old! It's not even like she's a DD. More to the point - we are actually over your way one day next week as well - cheeky little invitation to Millbrook To come over on Sunday would be 300+ miles on top. Over that way for Mikey's Prodrive visit in 2 weeks time too. In the meantime we have the arduous (not) task of checking some details over in Wales for next months Welsh Weekender so we look forward to seeing you on 27th June for that one
BTW - please let me know if KiwiSG turns up on Sunday as he has yet to make his hotel booking for the WW - give him a nudge if you see him or there may be another slot free on WW3

Don't worry, I forgive you for not turning up. Your comment about the mileage is true, I'm the same, I just want to go everywhere in the AM. Still got some catching up to do on Pearl but the miles just fly by when you're having fun.
Looking forward to the Welsh weekender, I'm sure you'll do a fine job as always - just keep the excitable Labrador on a tight leash .
If Kiwi appears, I'll remind him.

I'm in...at the start anyway. Route looks rather complicated and the missus is navigating so not sure we'll make it to the end!!
I'll just have to follow you guys! Drive slowly I'm an old git!
You'll be fine.. we follow the PH AM code "nobody gets left behind".. mostly I'll just have to follow you guys! Drive slowly I'm an old git!
As Molly and Bins have said, roll up, stretch the legs in the morning, and enjoy a bit of a social over lunch, luvly jubly.

Would love to be there but got keys to our new pad so will be planning the new home for Tandoori Express
How long does it take to organise the wine cellar? Great day for it peeps, it's chilly, but you can put your heated seats on if the feeling of incontinence is your thing..
Well, another day of fun in the sun completed, and we didn't get lost once
I hope everyone enjoyed themselves, traffic wasn't too bad, given that it was a bright Sunday morning. I thought the perfect storm of Lycra wearers/horse boxes/garden centre botherers would conspire to frustrate, but we did ok.
A couple of pics of the day - apologies for the car park at the meet point, I wasn't aware it resembled the surface of the moon..
P.S Thanks Dave, for injecting a splash of colour to proceedings
