I bought a Nilfisk pressure washer last year to help with the car cleaning (and other, er, cleaning duties. Yes dear, it's wonderful for getting that patio or brickwork clean etc etc).

The snow foam bottle and attachment that came with it is frankly rubbish. So I'm going to get a proper, dedicated snow foam lance.

There seems to be two types on the market:

http://www.i4detailing.co.uk/shop/pa-snow-foam-lan... (as recommended by paddy/Francis in his washing guide). £40 +P&P.

Or this 'Kranzle' type: http://www.elitecarcare.co.uk/kranzle-professional... £43 +P&P.

There is a guy on eBay selling these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&am... It looks like it's the same as option 1 above, but it's only £27 inc P&P.

Have any of you snow foam users got any thoughts or feedback on any of the above?

Thanks.

I'm glad you've popped up here, Francis.

Have you got any preference for any of the lances in my opening post?

If it's AB your after you can't go far wrong with this for £40 including 5l of product http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.p...
Thanks for the heads-up. 'Deal 1' (£40) now ordered and it should be with me in a couple of days.

And like Jon said, it comes with 500ml of Magifoam, not the 5l. But that's no drama because I've already got 5l waiting for me from a previous purchase.

For ten quid, Halfords have just started selling these, although with mixed reviews. Perhaps a more simple solution?

Mixed reviews indeed. It sounds like it does about as good as job as the supplied Nilfisk bottle (ie rubbish!)

I also ended up getting the Autobrite one (via the Detailingworld deal). I'm still getting the hang of it...

...but it's going ok so far:
