Vantage 4.3 prices ?

Hi all,
I currently own an 1996 Lotus Esprit S4s but having had it for 3 years I am thinking it might be time for a change. An Aston Martin is on my bucket list so I've been keeping an eye on V8 Vantage prices. I must explain this would not be a daily driver but like my Esprit a weekend & nice sunny day car to enjoy but for that reason I don't want to buy one & find it's worth 50% of what I paid for it in 2 or 3 years time, I get enough of that from my daily driver :-(
I know that no-one knows for sure how prices will go but I'd appreciate your thoughts on an early ( 2005/6 ) V8 Vantage. Do you see them going down to less than £ 20k like DB7's did or do you think £28k to £30k is as low as they will go ?
My previous toys have included a Ducati 748, an AC Cobra replica & a 1988 Porsche 911 3.2 Carrera, all of which having kept them for 2 or 3 years I sold for either the price I paid or more which helps me justify to my better half spending this amount of money on something that will do less than 3k miles a year :-)
Any thoughts / comments appreciated.

I thought I would resurrect this post as it's quite interesting to see how prices have been.
As I said in my original post I was after a V8V to replace my Lotus Esprit S4s but prices were out of my reach at the time so I bought a TVR Cerbera instead. Having had that for nearly 2 years & 5000 miles I sold it recently ( for nearly £3.5k more than I bought it for ) so thoughts have returned to purchasing an V8V only to find prices are very similar if not higher than they were nearly 3 years ago !
I haven't taken much notice over the last few years but did prices drop & then go back up or have they remained fairly stable ?
