Its taken almost a year for 'Q' to design and manufacture but here they are, now available for your DB9.2 and Virage, carbon fibre side strakes and front wheel stone guards. Here on the forum we have in the past had good reason to criticise 'Q', frustrated by their blinkered view, we turned to alternative sources.

However, over the last 12 months, in my experience, I am delighted to say that on the three occasions where I have asked for something special (c/f bottom half center console, c/f side strakes and front wheel stone guards) they have delivered exactly what I have asked for.

The wait was made even more worthwhile today when collecting her from Lancasters Cambridge dealership, when as a thank you for my custom they kindly discounted the fitted charges in addition attached FOC the AMOC grill badge.

Paul, you will have to enquire thru' the dealership for the prices. I enjoyed a package deal which included other stuff.

Errrm,,,,I'm with Paul on this one, sorry Francis/Adam. I'm pretty much at the limit, for me, in terms of c/f parts, where anymore would be over egging it, move it away from subtle. I know there are available c/f door caps, door handles, internal sills and yes Francis c/f badges and I'm sure on the right car they look fantastic but not for me, not for Vesuvius. wink

Hey Bob, a man who knows the journey to personalization - great job, Vesuvius is looking beautiful.

Stone chips from the front wheels is a problem... I am not sure however, I want to add mud-flaps to my car. I spent my childhood removing mud-flaps from every bicycle I ever owned so it went faster laugh

Here's a thought, the new lightweight parts might mean you could catch me at Silverstone biggrin
William, great work on Teaspn, congratulations on a job very well done. Gotta know when to stop though, I'm calling a halt to any further 'enhancements' certainly aesthetically. Maybe if Mike discovers a way to take her into the 600bhp territory, that we might go for.

The AM Stone guards are indeed a refined mud flap. To be fair, they are pretty unobtrusive.
See attached, look closely you will see where Snetterton marbles struck the sills end of last month (disgusting that they are still there I know but Francis is on his way) but equally it demonstrates very clearly, how they will prevent this happening at our next Track day and any other day she's out on normal roads with stones.

I've contacted my dealer who will order a set and try them on a DBS first.
These are the first model specific factory made set that have been fitted to any DB9.2. Not sure they will fit the DBS,,,are the sills the same shape?

Had them on Blofeld for over a year now and they do really protect the paintwork. (Even after a Rockingham and Goodwood track day).
I remember someone adapted some stone guards for Blofeld (BR I think). Good to know they've delivered Dave!

Bob, that AMOC badge position will cause overheating in the summer for sure. Did you do a air flow analysis against temperature variables before fitting?? I bet that will invalidate the warranty also yes

In fact that may even affect lap times due to increased drag and therefore lowered top speed biggrin

Looking good Bob wink
They're wings me old dinner plate, perfik aerodynamics innit. rolleyes

Any road up, Silverstone in March, whats going on??

Francis, "makes that one look cheap", it does it all on its own,,,,would sell well as something to hang on the tree at Xmas,,,along with the chocolate coins. cool

Paul, I maybe wrong but don't think the new DB9.2 stone guards will fit a DBS. Were stone guards ever manufactured specifically for a DBS?
