Found a chip on my windscreen so had auto glass in to try a repair. Didn't go well so I am getting the screen replaced on Friday. I am pretty nervous at the thought of them chopping the old screen out.
Any pointers to look out for as I shall be keeping a very close watch on them as they do it?
Screen is heated as well.

When he put the little vacuum machine on and injected the resin it opened up the cracks and made them actually more visible from inside the car.
He did say it was borderline but would try the repair to see if it would work. I'm not blaming the technician , I reckon these repair attempts either work or they don't.
I'll try and post a pic

Not a great pic but you can see the "repair" wasn't successful. (Look just below the window sill)
