So having been dreaming of 1 day owning an Aston and many man math calculations later, I've finally pulled the trigger on a purchase. I'm ashamed to say that I bought the first one I went to see, however, in my defence it was from a dealer (HR Owen Cheltenham) and I did get it inspected by Bridge Mill Motors for a second opinion, they said it was a good un, so fingers crossed.

I picked it up on Saturday and I don't think I've stopped smiling since. So far so good, just a couple of random TPMS faults on the way home, but I'm told they all do that sir. It was very cold on the way back up north on Sat so that may have contributed towards the errors.

As you can see from the photos it's a very high spec 4.7 with sports pack, lightweight seats, N400 sills & lights and B&O stereo. This is on account of the fact it was an AM factory car for the first 12 months, so used as a demonstrator. Some may say this is a bad thing as it might have been abused by many people, but the way I see it AM would have looked after it properly replacing anything that needed doing during their ownership, and hopefully wouldn't let a lemon out into the public domain. I await your comments.

Just need all this snow and ice to go away so I can use it, currently very white and cold here in Sheffield, and the car is looking a hell of a lot dirtier than when I pick it up.

Thanks for the kind comments, it was certainly the fully loaded spec that appealed initially, then the general condition of the car. As for the B&O stereo, I think I need to spend more time setting it up, but it seems to be source dependent e.g. on CDs it sounds very good with a coherent balance across the frequency range, where as on the FM tuner it seems a lot more wooly in the bottom end. I've yet to try iPod/iPhone source to see how that compares.
