I decided to go the whole way and get Jessica fulled ventureshieled self healing so got Paddy to work his stuff then got A local company to me to apply the wrap. Whilst chatting to them I wasn't fully aware of the possibilities of whats available and what can be covered.
So we had been thinking of putting new cupboard doors and panels on to update our kitchen but the price wasn't really justifiable so we decided to go down the route of a full wrap.
The main reason for doing it was our kitchen is in quite a dark corner of the house so we wanted to lighten up the area.
We are thrilled,
There are so many different finishes pending on how daring you want to be but its only as permanent as you either get bored or want to return to the original.

They took the doors of and wrapped both sides.
The 3M brochure we looked at had pretty much every conceivable colour/effect.
Probably find a match for the colour of your car !!!

Not really my cup of tea either !
The chap who did our kitchen has wrapped his skirting boards, so rather than re gloss every few years this stuff doesn't fade ! It's quite amazing what you could wrap. We were thinking of having the fridge done as well.

Don't drink and hoover simples !
its pretty hard wearing, i have had my wing mirrors wrapped in a carbon effect and they have been hit on occasion and nothing has gone through. Its not as robust as self healing stuff but so far so good.
Maybe in a year or so that might be different but for the cost to re do a bit of skirting i am not that bothered.

OK then don't hover angry. if you ram a Dyson and of course there our many other manufactures out there hard into skirting its going to leave a mark. but in the interests of testing I have just carried out a unscheduled hovering exercise which included several impacts and I can happily report no cuts, tears or abrasions to speak of. but for the record I haven't been drinking.
