Thinking of doing it - just interested to see if anyone else has or has one for sale.

Thinking take standard Vantage, replace seats with Recaros, harnesses, half/full cage, sort suspension, engine mods etc...

Thanks

Those aren't track cars those are race cars wink
But as you can see LOTS of weight lost!

I'm presuming the OP is asking about road legal track day cars ?
Yes - exactly that - road legal track car retaining some comforts like aircon and a bit of leather - something you could drive to Spa or the Ring in some comfort then pound it round - and assuming you don't bend it, drive it back again.

Thanks guys anyhow and will look up that YouTube link.

Hello, I have made my V8 Vantage S (sportshift) setup for Nurburgring/Nordschleife.

1. Toyo R888. 265 in the front 295 in the rear
2. Camber adjustment
3. GT4 suspension. The original suspension is too soft and gets broken due to heavy compression in the "fuchröre"
4. Longdistance N24 brake pads = Endless or Dixcel
5. Rearwing. More downforce in high speed corners

Thats all. The car is excellent for the track but think twice it will cost you a lot of money.

The gearbox has been replaced (warranty) and I have had a engine failure (not on warranty)

It,s a great car, excellent handling, as fast as a GT3. It needs just a little bit more bhp. Have tried to installed a supercharger from America which gives the car 610 bhp, but the driveshaft was broken.

I,m a great Aston fan. And I thank them for very good service and support in Germany. (Aston Martin Testcenter at Nurburgring)

Sorry for my bad english :/
Many thanks for your interesting reply Thom1010 - and your English is fine - fully understood! Do you have pictures of your car?
