Sold my DBS today nothing wrong with the car just never really used it, only done 2k in a year.
At least I've had 5 years of Astons which is more than some people can say.
I have a indoor cover now spare and a leather pouch for the key up for grabs and the bible.
Cheers everyone and I will be back on PH sometime no doubt.

That stunning DBS Volante will be a hard car to replace... what's next Paul?
Down grading to a SL63 AMG when the right one comes along and at half the price I don't care about in frequent use.

What I didn't say on my initial post is I will clear my mortgage instead so not that bad a situation I guess.
Also I have sold the pouch and cover thanks for that.
Can't see me climbing that high again but if I don't gell with the merc a vantage may well do the job.
Cheers for the comments.

Ok. So it's half there cost but, don't you stand to lose more in real terms from heavier depreciation on the merc?

Also, out of curiosity , if it's not being drive enough then would you not consider making it your DD (or is it already your DD).

I've sold on before on the basis of not enough use so just wondering what other thoughts you'd had.
It could never be my DD and embarrassing when I took it to work.
Can't see the car losing that much for me to care but I agree AM hold value better.

A word of advice then...

If you ever drive it at the speed limit of 155mph you may well find that the cooling system fails and the car needs some work to get it back on the road. It's not unsafe, you will just see that the car starts to overheat.

There was some form of recall done, but I am not sure if it was mandatory. Worth asking a Mercedes dealer about this.

When it happened to the one I had the chap from Mercedes said TADTS and we fix them as they come to us...
Thanks for the scary heads up.

The gearbox is a bit odd I must say, lazy in comfort mode changes eventually, better in sport but changes when it wants to not you if using paddles, manual it works very well, yes the blips work well and in sport it does it for you.
Turns heads to do that's a bonus lol
MPG is worse which is a downer well if your pressing on!!
