Trickle charging with non aston charger
Discussion
Hi there,
I have a trickle charger which is a non-aston Martin charger. It has crocodile clip style connectors so I can't attach in the boot. Should I attach it to the positive point under the bonnet drivers side and negative to something metal, directly to the battery behind the driver's seat, or something else?
Ideally I'd like to attach to the under bonnet as it's easier but I'm not sure it will work. I'm trying to avoid a trip to JCT to have the mirrors reset (again)....
Thanks
Andrew

RTFM.
There's a battery point under the bonnet (a positive one) but no mention in the manual as to whether or not it is ok to trickle charge using that and some random earth point.... The manual tells you where to connect a cigarette lighter ended trickle charger.RTFM.
So - is it ok to trickle charge using the battery point and some random earth point under the bonnet?
I could go and get a cigarette lighter attachment but that means spending £ which I was trying to avoid.
