Had new wheels with Michelins Supersports and then had a geo setup on my car with a more extreme setup. I was expecting it to handle better but the change is much more than what I thought it would be.

Its so much more pointy and playful. Feels sharp like a GT3 or similar.

Love it!

These cars have much more to give than with the factory seup!

I ran the new tyres on my old wheels for a couple of hundred miles but I take the point about an overall package.

I still think the vantage can be improved with a decent geo.

Its one of the best and lowest cost improvements you can do to a Vantage. Makes a huge difference
I think I would agree!

Had thought about modifying the suspension but I really think it's not needed now, the difference is that drastic.

This with the secondary decat has improved the car massively.

Why new wheels? Cosmetic or functional (both?)
It was mainly cosmetic but with the added bonus that they are lighter. I toyed between painting the originals and using a small spacer or buying a new set.

I personally thought the OEM wheels with the black coloured highlighting made the spokes look too thin. Fussy eh!

Now have a spare set of 4 spacers if anyone needs a set.
