Hi all,

I am a very happy new owner of an MY2015 V8V SP10 Manual in ceramic grey. As promised in an earlier thread, here are the photos, else it didn't happen.

First job will be to remove the front number plate plinth.

Well done also on getting the pictures up………smile

Kev, are you going to explain what is needed next………...thumbup
I do hope Kev isn't going to suggest upgrading to a V12. At least not yet ....

Thanks all for your kind comments.

You are indeed correct - I haven't stopped smiling yet. Must remember to keep my eyes on the road though. I keep glancing down at the AM wings on the steering wheel and grinning stupidly to myself. Bet I look a right numpty at the traffic lights.

An excellent choice...but I'm a bit biased as the SP10 was my first Aston too!

The Cermic grey is a stunning colour, I'm glad you like it as the SP10 only comes in it!biggrin

The plinth is a doddle to remove, get to it!

Enjoy (I know you will) in good health.
Thanks Frankie.

Correct me if I'm wrong (and I often am), but didn't they offer Onyx Black as an option ?

What about ordering your souvenir Event Poster for collection on the day……...biggrin
Ooh yes please, especially if it's the one depicted in the events section on the Burghley house website - looks great. Please put me down for one thumbup

Well done. I love ceramic grey. The paint explodes when the sun hits it.
I've only had it 3 weeks Paddy, so am yet to see how good the colour actually looks in sunlight biglaugh

Excellent choice of Vantage Octavarium. I absolutely love my SP10. Congratulations!

The Ceramic Grey paint is indeed stunning and looks even better when Paddy has worked his magic on it.
Thank you Pete. If you are Burghley bound then I will have to compare your 'Paddy-fettled' car with mine. Let's hope the sun is shining.

CONGRATULATIONS Octavarium!!

Like many people here, I had an idea of what grey paint should look like in my head. But that colour of yours is amazing. Seems similar to Quantum Silver in that it can go really dark to really light depending on the light?

Great photos, hope you're enjoying it! smile
I couldn't be happier Nijius. The sun is out today (for a short while at least here oop north), and it looks gorgeous.

I've been following your post with interest. Enjoy that carbon black V12 beastie

Thank you! Look forward to seeing your super cool grey Vantage at Burghley! smile
Is it tomorrow you pick it up ? With it being my first Aston, I couldn't sleep properly for 3 nights prior to collection day.
