With mixed feelings I am looking at a U.S. job offer that will require me to sell my very recently purchased CB V12V. What I love about this particular car is that the grille and the brightwork (window surrounds) are black. This gives it a great Darth Vader vibe.

I've already started to look at cars in the US but will be next to impossible to find such a car. Seems trivial, I know, compared to all other items related to such a move - I guess I must have my priorities all wrong.

The grille (I mean, grill) is easy, but does anyone have any idea what it would take to change out the window surrounds? Did I read a post somewhere (search really doesn't help) that someone did this? Was it sukh_m?

Plenty of them here with black trim. where are you moving to?
Hi there - to the Charlotte, NC area. Keep in mind it would be a V12V I would be looking for - any search tips would be appreciated.

Thanks for the blackout tips, gents. Indeed looks like I could go the expensive route (after picking up the bits smile ) - or PlastiDip or even masking tape.
