wing mirror adjustment stopped working

Hi all.

A recent purchase of a 2009 AM DB9 15k miles was going well until yesterday; the wing mirror adjustment stopped working - no warning, it was perfect one minute and then the following day it just didn't work

If I press either left or right switch to select the mirror neither switch illuminates and neither is adjustable - won't move at all. Also, I discovered if I press both left and right at the same time then the left button illuminates but still won't adjust.

Is this a common symptom/failure? I'm pretty tool handy and would like to try and fix it before taking it to AM and taking a bath. Plus I like fixing stuff myself; Just thought if anyone can shed any light or suggest certain things to check. No error messages or warning triangle and everything else is fine.

Well, I pulled fuse no 83 and this reset the drivers door module - works fine.

Yeah and all the other 'recommendations' it doesn't need but they try to convince you anyway

It's fine now. I managed to let the battery drain and I assume that caused the problem - works a treat now after the module reset.
