I'm thinking of putting my vantage on a private plate. The front plinth has already gone.

There are a number options but I don't want something Chavtastic, this is my top choice. I thought I would just check in with you guys.

In NZ there is quite a choice available, see www.plates.co.nz , others include;

00AM

ALHC

DRAC1

4C1

A SPY

4 MI6

They are combinations of initials or Aston related, any better ideas?

I would go with your first choice (AML V) without any doubt.

Avoid anything with SPY or MI6 like the plague though unless you want to undo all the good work of actually having an Aston.

DRAC1 is obviously pretty apt, but AML V just fits perfectly on your car.
Hi Julian, my thoughts exactly but as you can imagine the spy options are pretty popular with my kids.

Without doubt a first world problem but so is choosing which car to use each morning. I was uneasy about the spy plates myself that's one of the reasons I threw it out for feedback. The kids, like 99% of normal people only know that Bond drives an Aston, it's only on a forum like this that it's important it was a DBS etc.

A M L V was a my first choice because it was subtle and most wouldn't get it anyway. I wasn't so keen on a plate with V8 in it as most V8's here are Ford or Holden. P5NIS isn't subtle and as it winter here it would be too cold and hard to find. The DRAC1 is hard, I just can't decide if I want that out there.

Thanks for all the comments keep them coming.

It's Ok guys, I don't feel bullied. Actually it would invite being bullied to go to the pub more often. beer

I just wanted some feedback. Its better than receiving it on a garage forecourt when I'm filling with petrol.

AML V was always my top choice and that's the way I'm going to go.

Surprisingly not tempted, I've already got CLT on my Elise and the office girls at work think its for Clit. I suppose I could have P5NIS and V5GINA as the pair to go with my CLT.

Or to top it off, how about BELLNDgetmecoat

Good lad Drac, it'll look fab. Told you they were weird on here.
Yes and you were right but now a least I've been initiated into gherkinland, which I imagine a quite a peculiar place to spend to much time.

Oh look there's one of the guys from the Aston forum.

In reality it's quite normal here, you should try SELOC, frequently very strange.
