Locktons/Chubb Car Insurance

I recently had to make a claim on my car insurance company Locktons/Chubb and unfortunately found the whole process of claiming incredibly painful. I would of expected more from this so-called reputable company (As recommended by AMOC), but from start to finish it was a comedy of errors and me having to constantly chase the claim. I just wondered how many others are insured through Locktons and had any good/bad experiences with them ?

I am hoping its a one off, but from their internal investigation into the claim, it appears they are happy to make an apology and carry on business as usual....

My insurance is due in September, so I will be looking elsewhere this year, so any recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks for the information, I use A-plan for most of my other insurances (house/flat etc), but didn't even think about asking for my AM. I will definitely be ringing around looking for best quote (not always necessarily the cheapest).
