Gloss black Ski Slope advice

Hi,

I currently have a wood upper centre dash ski slope, I really like the piano black look so I'm thinking about having this wood panel sprayed black at my local car paintshop.

Has anyone done this? if so what did it look like?

I have looked at purchasing a piano black item but I'm shocked at the price £800+ !!!!!

Yes, i've looked at Aston martin bits, they don't have any secondhand units which will are the pre emotion key.

So a new one is £707 plus a conversion kit to allow for a metal unit £60 + VAT = £920 !!!!! WOW.

So, no i'm not purchasing one, i'll get my wood unit sprayed, hoping that the finish will be good.

Anyone else had this done??
