Bit of refurb needed... any experience out there?

So, as a long term car enthusiast I've done all sorts of stuff over the years, from early ownership of a Lotus (I worked for Caterham when they were still on the hill ) through fast mini's and various Fords, TVR, now, an Aston... saw Goldfinger in the cinema when it was first released in 1964... I was twelve

Anyhoo, I'm putting a new battery in this coming weekend, and there are a few cosmetic jobs I want to get stuck into... Firstly, the wing mirror supports, lots of corrosion that needs rubbing down, treating, and finishing... any recommendations? Here's a piccie.



Secondly, the rear diffuser... alloy blocks (corroded) and the mesh (that looks like something a plasterer uses} all looks proper tat... again, any ideas or suggestions based on experience? I'll probably go for shot blast and powder coat if no other ideas come up.... piccies...



And lastly (for now ) I need leather cleaning stuff. but there are a few scratched bits that I'm sure the proper colour stuff will eliminate.. for example the red is 'chancellor'... and it needs some tlc.... where can I get good leather care stuff from that is the original AM colours??
