Another what tyre thread -Vantage V8 coupe

So I guess I've been fortunate, seven year service and they've told me it needs new tyres (originals still on the car!).

So what's the latest preferred tyre choice? Originals are Bridgestone IIRC, but are there any better ones to consider?
What about the new Michelin Pilot Sport 4, are they out yet for the car?

Do the tyres have to have the AM 9 symbol on them or does that not matter?

Any advice appreciated so I can do my homework before agreeing to an expensive swap during the service!

Looking at the Michelin Pilot SS, I can't see one with AM9 on it - one with XL (reinforced sidewall?) and one with BMW but not one with AM9.

Can you advise which specific Michelin PSS version you picked?

Thanks for the advice everybody, the tyres can wait until spring so I'll be looking at the Michelins and take it from there.
