WANTED AM Vantage Wheels
Discussion
Hi there and a Happy New Year!
I wonder if anyone can help me, I'm on the look out for some Vantage wheels, preferably 19inch and ideally of a V8. I have a 2006 Vantage which I've recently updated to incorpatre the MY12.25 front bumper and V8S/V12 Side skirts. The wheels on my car now look pretty dated and are in a sorry state thanks to the previous owner, does anybody have and newer style V8 Vantage wheels for sale. I do really like the 10 Spoke Twin Graphite wheels with polished faces.
I'm prepared to look at anything available and not bothered if they need refurbing, if they had tyres that would be fantastic! I'm not your typical Aston Martin owner, being just 20, so I'm not after spending an arm and a leg but keen to see what people have got.
Thankyou

I've got these for sale. Bought for the same reason as you, fitted V12 sideskirts and the oem fitment 19's looked a bit lost. Not just the diameter but also the offset. These fit perfectly filling the arches really well. Very rare wheels too, don't come up on the used market very often!

Here's a set of what I think you're looking for on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/19-GENUINE-Aston-Martin-...
Might be the ones stolen from my shed last year but who will ever know. Looks like they could do with a refurb but as you say that's not really a problem. £1500 is an OK price considering that these are the lightweight forged wheels which retail for over £4000 new.

Thanks very much for your reply! They look like great wheels but I'm ideally after some 19's from a Vantage I want to keep the car looking fairly OEM. Thanks anyway and good luck with your sale!http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/parts-and-p...

Thanks very much for the link, these are the wheels I'm ideally after! Love the look of these however if I remember rightly these have been machine to fit an Audi A5. I believe the advert says they will still fit Aston but surely won't the holes be elongated? Not sure what your thourghts are on that but seems pretty dangerous to me! Such a shame because they are right in budget. They are also in Romania..Might be the ones stolen from my shed last year but who will ever know. Run away ......Anyway, forgot to say huge congrats on becoming as Aston owner at 20. Good effort. Just to keep you searching, a quick snap of mine with said wheels. They are beautiful and more will come up for sale and when they do it will have been worth the wait.
PS Has this guy got a full set of 4 wheels? If so you may be able to do a deal http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/19-GENUINE-Aston-Martin-...
These are the ones you want. I bought the same set from this guy earlier this year and they're spot on. Worth sending him a message, I didn't pay £3k

If i ever find a set of lightweight wheels , I have some lovely v12 wheels for sale. Been checking everywhere for around 6 months
I bought these satin black lightweights from AM Works last April, this is the second set of wheels I have bought from them in 2 yearsIn both cases someone bought a brand new car from them and did not like the existing alloys, so they swapped them over for another style of alloys.

Thanks for all your help regarding the wheel choice. I was contacted by Mark from Bridge Hill Motors who managed to source me a set of N430 wheels with the correct AM tyres. Huge thanks to him and the garage for letting me know about them. Got them on the car this morning and took it out for a quick spin. Really pleased with the result! The original wheels were 235/40/19 and 275/35/19 however the new ones run on slightly wider tyres (245/40/19 front and 285/35/19 rear) I found this fills the rear arch much better which was one of my niggles with the old wheels. They weigh quite a bit less as well which I was pleased with because I was suprised at the weight of the original wheels. Took the car out for a spin this morning and got some pictures afterwards so excuse the state of the car in the pictures. The wheels have finished the car off nicely, just a N420 diffuser to fit and the outside of the car is finished! Thanks again for everyone's help!

Looks very similar to my N430 .I quite fancy a set of silver lightweight wheels , I think they would set the car off rather nicely.
