CX-7 parking sensors

Firstly I'm not a fan of parking sensors, but the ones in my CX-7 are probably the most paranoid I've ever encountered, and are driving me crazy.

I'd like to permanently disable them - not per journey as the button by the handbrake already does that.
Is there simply a fuse that I can remove, or is there something else that I could do?


Edit - oh, and it's the 2008 2.3T petrol model
