What's your view on how prices will go with these very special cars? Bottom of the market seems to be very securely anchored around 35k for the first 2009 cars and has not budged by even a fraction for several years now!

That makes sense, have seen comments regarding the six month service intervals for the 09 cars, extended to 12 months on the later cars, which its suggested may have been to recoup some profit from the loss leader pricing strategy for on the earlier cars.

but is rumoured to cost at least 10k a year to run
Really ? wow ?

But how ? suppose it depends on mileage but 10 grand to run one.

Surely you would need to break it to spend ten grand, Litchfields most expensive service is £1000, a set of tyres is, as mentioned £800, brakes all round looks like about £1500.

What else needs doing, am talking about routine stuff to keep one in good condition, not modifications ?

Suspension, alignment, detailing, refurbishment ? cant think of much else

Is anyone doing any of their own work ? the brakes don't look any harder to change than any other car and am guessing an oil change is pretty much an oil change ? not sure what home servicing a GTR would do to its value though.
There's a lot of such stores with performance cars, there's no way even at main dealership prices you would be spending to unless you had major problems or upgrades as mentioned.

I have been running a TVR Cerbera for the last ten years which is reputed to cost in the region of 3k a year in running costs.

Have never come anywhere close to that, although fairly hands on and using independent specialists.
