1998 Micra 1.3 running problems

I have 1998 1.3 Micra which ran and drove fine until I left it for a week. Now the engine starts but after 20 seconds it cuts out. If you try to rev the engine it will bog down and cut out.

Does anybody have any idea what it could be?
