Does anyone in the Cambs/Herts area have an RX7 that I can have a look at in the flesh?
i'm considering selling my S15 for one but am worried about fitting in as I have heard the interior is quite tight.

Thanks all!

Thanks for the reply, I've been over to MRC and I can't access the forum to be able to ask unless I pay for membership.
Now I will pay for membership if I get one as I find forums very useful. But until I know I don't want to commit.
Same with FDUK I cant post a thread in the appropriate section unless I get full membership, to do so I have to have an FD already!
Thought I would ask here as this is the most diverse forum I am a member of!

I'm close to Duxford on the Cambs/Herts border if that's of any use to you. It's an FD with 2+2 standard seating.

There don't seem to be many round this way, last one I saw was 6 years ago.
Thanks for the reply I have mailed you!

Went to go see Jon (rotarymazda's) FD the other day, and it was stunning, will definitely be getting an FD RX7 when my Silvia sells.
Also got some good tips, advice and a bit of light reading.
Most importantly, I fit inside one easily, and Jon's 9 years trouble free driving sold it to me.

Will post pictures when I get one.

Close thread.

Little bit of a thread bump!

But I have no purchased a Mazda RX7 RZ in Japan, and am just waiting on it to arrive in the UK (March time)
She's got 38000 miles on the clock and compression results averaging 8.2.

Went through Torque GT, I imported my last car through them, and couldn't be happier at the moment, despite the long wait!

Sorry about poor quality, all the tech the Japanese have and they decide to take photo's with a potato.

Thanks Tommo!

I've been told that it is in incredible condition, it is a grade 4 with the only marks on the auction sheet being faded front lip and a couple of small parking dings.

No after-market modifications, the only change is that the R Bathurst R suspension has been bought and installed, probably because they are height adjustable.
I've got more photo's of the underside and its amazing how clean it is!

Lovely car, congrats.

Do you mind me being a bit nosey and asking an approx how much it cost all in including importing and taxes etc?
I don't mind, it'll only save you the time it would take to contact an importer anyway.
All in its costing me £21k imported to the UK, which is decent considering I was offered one at £25k and was told by another importer 22-24.

It is a lot of money, but it should hold its value being 1 of 175!

Torque GT fully under seal the car when it arrives as standard, however I think I will also be investing in some to inject into all the possible rust points and go over the car again.

Going to spend the first few months properly detailing everything!

It is definitely worth the money to import through them, my last car, an S15, was impossibly clean also!
I think after a lottery win I would keep them in business for a good few years!
Nothing better than seeing a car with a super clean under-body!

I would think that any modifications as you say A10 would lower the value of it.
At the moment I don't have too many plans, I've bought some RZ stickers to replace the ones that have been peeled/fallen off, and that's about it.

If anything were to break or need replacing, I think I will upgrade and go for OEM+, like poly bushing and alike.

Thanks Rogue86!

Thanks! The only difference is the colour and the year of production.
This one also comes with factory adjustable coil-overs from the Bathurst R model.
I have read somewhere online that there was a 10kg weight reduction over the Spirit R, but I wouldn't be so sure.

Boo hiss, no V8's here!

That is a lovely looking Supra! super clean!
I think they must use the same dock every time, as it looks the same as when I got my S15, I suppose all the docks could look the same though!

I was wondering where to put a thread on this, I will put one up in there, there will just be lots of cleaning shots at first I imagine!
