Nice, big fan of the Swift

How do you find it?
I had 13k to spend as my Audi A3 was written off. I looked at all sorts Volvo v40, fiesta st etc etc.

Then I found a book with a list of stuff I'd repaired on Audi and realised it was actually a money Pitt.

I realised the only cars I'd never had an issue with are jap and straight petrol. So the hunt was on. I looked a lot at civic type r, civic 1.8 etc. Bit i kept going back to Suzuki.

I don't regret it, simple and fun. Plus loads of kit. I'm a very happy bunny.

Mk2 has a 6 speed box so is much more refined at higher speeds. I had a Mk2 and averaged 39 mpg in 2.5 years of ownership and loved every minute but couldn't keep it as my commute is changing to be a 50 mile daily trip.

Very nice OP - enjoy it!
Got any pics of yours Colin ?

I think the sz3 has them as standard?
Yes'm but sports don't, I assumed it may be as it has HID lights as I know my dads merc does not have spots due to its HID lights but it looks like they have them on foreign models

You're in for a shock. A three year service plan for mine was over £1000.
Think you've maybe paid over the odds

Little update.

Up too 3k on clock now and it's defiantly quicker than new.

I've really fallen for the little thing.

Not amazing grip on wet due to tyre size but not bad in dry it's amazing.

All the standard extras are great and the headlights awesome

I'm considering one of these as they get such good reviews and 2012 models can be had for less than £7K now. My commutes only 12 miles across country on B roads and these look like a lot of fun!
Well I'm still pleased r12mamy and I love to moan, I'd try and get one with the nav, it's a great little system simple and affective. The DAB on it seems to be the best I've used for picking up stations.

Small update had the car almost a year now.

All is well, very happy with my little swift. In fact I can't really think of anything to complain about.

I've done 14k now needed new front tyres at 12k uhmm that's it.
