I need a bit of input from the PH collective on this one. If i get the job done remap etc will it show up on the diagnostic when i have my regular services. my concern is blowing the engine and invalidating the waranty. Presently had the PPP engine mods but when i approached prodrive they were very reluctant to give me any sort of sraight answer other than the limiter is there for a reason etc HELP!

[quote=DanBoy]De-limiting is just daft and largely pointless.

Maybe you could get it raised a little with the appropriate modifications but de-limiting completely is a no-no.[/quote
No i think you are missing the point i want to be able to go faster than the 155 limit as set by Subaru. I no it sounds very school boy but i am about to go to Germany and use the Auto barns
Paul.
p.s. i am 40 years of age not your average scooby owner but i do like to get a move on

Ok ladies and gentlemen i now have enough doubt in my mind to make me think i will leave well alone, but 11 miles an hour is still a big improvment for a minimal outlay even with the risk factored in to the equation, ahh i used to be indecisve but now i am just not sure.

I don't think it would do it!

Gearing is one thing (my Evo would do over 165 too), but the car is almost certainly aerodynamically limited.

By this I mean the car doesn't have enough power to overcome the wind resistance on the fairly boxy shape at 155mph.

May i beg to differ sugestion is if i have the sensor remapped etc the potential is up to 170/175 but i must admit i think the advice given is sound and having wathched the bonnet lift quite scarely at over 150 allready some 2/3 CM will it stay down?

wot scooby you got year modle so on

think thay are on about your boost
to re-map a scooby with ppp the ppp chip will have to come out
and it will NOT blow up get a re-map so you can run more boost safe and you will get the most out of your mods
a new age scooby my03 on with full de-cat fuel pump can give up to
340bhp 350 torque look on "scoobynet"
had my re-map and i am verry happy

Hello mate you have got my attention its a 2004 uk model sti with the prodrive engine mods (no adjustable drive power bias) but one of my worries is will this show up when the car is serviced on the diagnostic as i actually lease the car.
