hi, basically i want to own a classic scooby for the first time and was wondering if i can have some much needed help and advice on buying and what to look out for. if a scooby has over 100k on the clocks but they have paperwork to prove the engine was rebuilt or replaced and has only done 20k is that as safe as buying a low mileage one? and if there is a full service history at a reputable place i take it this helps to show its been well cared for as serving these things over a long space of time isnt cheap. plus on a rebuilt engine will the turbo and cam belt been sorted also so they will last its just i really dont want to buy a dodgy motor thats going to die after 6 months or a year but with my budget its got to be around the 97 98 year (2000 turbo model.) anyone around loughborough leicester that owns or knows about scoobs be kind enough to volunteer to looking at one or two with me to help me along? please help thanks michael
