Just to mention, I've been mapping my car for 95ron as a second map, primary map is 99ron.

Impossible to run the same boost, can't be done.

4psi less boost, need to pull 3 degrees of timing at peak torque to keep it from knocking.

Moral of the story, don't be tempted to put 95ron in your imported mapped car, it'll die.

And you'll get more miles per tank on 99 RON fuel - in my experience, it nearly offsets the increased cost.

However, it doesn't solve my supply problem - SUL is only available 2 weeks in 4 here. frown
The reason i'm doing a 95ron map at present, I have a dash switch to swap between maps so i'm going to use it. At the last trackday I went too I had to do 100 miles at lunchtime to find either tesco 99ron or V-power that the car was only mapped for. Royal PITA if i'd have had a second 95ron map; flick of switch and no worries.
