Is it wrong to want that?!!! Initial thoughts were Hmmmm slicing a car to make it into a soft top will compromise it rather, but looks like you've sorted that!
No its not wrong ...lol

I thought long and hard before I cut it up and its not the 1st one I'v done but it will be the very 1st FTO with out a roofclap

for a show car they do work, just this will have more than enough go to match for once!

Damn, would love to work with a company like yourselves, not many about that actually go the whole hog rather than just slinging on a bodykit, big wheels and massive install in. The roofless chop and cage are superb
Im the only one in London that I know off that does everything under one roof, and I do it all myself

Wow! Love the concept! Looks like a lot of hard work so hats off to you. Should be amazing!

On the downside i'm not a big fan of the lambo doors or the vielside styling (dare i say its a bit 90's?) but fair play all the same!

Did you consider any other bodykits?
I had that pic done a few back, since then I'v made changes and I'm using a vielside kit I'm getting an one off kit made for it

But lambo doors are staying look so good on this car

It doesnt, when they see his mental health cert on the wall they will let him off!

really coming along quickly mate atm! very good progress and love the engineering side to the project!

Personally I'm gald your not using the veilside front, I think that a Do-Luck 350z or supra front bumper re shaped to fit would work really well, subtle yet you know its there kind of thing, plus have space for he FMIC it will need
LOL

work is slow at the moment so this is keeping me busy...lol
Should have the floor in by the end off the week end, cant wait to get that in...lol
Im gonna use a S2000 reshaped front bumper I fitted not to long ago was the 1st in the country
not over the top and loads of room for a FMICwhistlebounce

How much of each floor pan will actually line up etc? I forsee a ton of fabrication. Fair play squire, I'd love to do this but the rules on modifying cars here in Oz are ridiculous, I have plans of doing an NSX engine into the rear of a Prelude but the certs to get it roadworthy and the engineer's fees make it a pain in the arse!
wow that sounds like a wicked project hope you get it done

well from the bolk head to the were the petrol tank sits is pretty much the same..
the challage will be the back end coz of the axle and the rear panels
will keep you up dated on the fabrication which will start early next week

Good stuff!

Are you using a car-o-liner or some sort of jig (besides the bracing) to keep the body true? Also will this be registered on a Q Plate (do they even have them anymore) I love projects like this, too many naysayers who struggle to hold a spanner the right way up these days, refreshing to see proper car modding!
not using a jig for this one, just need to weld a couple more braces as the door gabs have closed but the roll cage is doing its job

Not sure if the Q reg are still being used but this will be going on the its oringal regrolleyessmokin
