Six appeal - Show us your six!
Discussion
Hi all
My newly acquired 645 should be making an appearance in carpool soon and I was thinking, who on here actually owns a six?
Its definitely a niche car, but how many of us have taken the plunge? As I see it the car needs a very particular type of buyer... one probably more common on PH than most places...
I suppose I'm mostly thinking of the "new" six, but would love to see anyone who has an E24 too - awesome looking cars!

Can anyone on here comment on the refinement of the E63 6 series compared the 7?
Ive been in an E63 M6 before but wasn't really concentrating on its refinement
I really want a GT next
Ross, I would have imagined the 7 is considerably plusher than the 6. The six probably rides a little harder than the E60 5, although it has been so long since I've driven a five I can't recall.Ive been in an E63 M6 before but wasn't really concentrating on its refinement

However, the 6 is not a terrible ride as standard, on runflats it feels as stiff as my e46 with sport suspension did, but I think if you ditched runflats then it would improve somewhat. It is certainly lightyears ahead of my old 911!
From what I understand, despite being a similar length to the 5, the 6's wheelbase is considerably shorter, which obviously makes it a bit more fun to drive but the cost of a short wheelbase is usually a harsher ride. As a GT car, I cannot really fault it and this thing feels like it is just built to go around Europe - which I cannot wait to do.
