Chaps,
One of my rear top mounts has failed on my e46 330d touring.

They were only recently replaced so I'm thinking it's probably sensible to go with stronger items this time or they'll just end up breaking again.

I've heard that e46 m3 cab mounts are considered to be stronger but does anyone know if they're interchangeable with a touring or if there's anything else I should consider?

It seems like it'll take more time to get all the trim out of the boot than it will to change the bloody things over!

Good point.
If you compare the good one:

With the shot one

The big washer is there but it's obviously going to be weak if the equivalent on the other side failed.
Any idea where I can get one?

On top of that the car is sitting about 2cm lower on the broken side so I suspect the spring might've gone as well...

Luckily for me I've got the week off, the car is on the driveway and we've got another car to use in the meantime.

The new Meyle mounts arrived today & new washers are on order from the local dealer but there's no rush, although I an tempted to pop the wheels off & check the springs so there are no surprises when I come to put it all back together.
