So, I've advertised her (PH & AT) for the last few months and had 1 phone call from an interested punter, but they never rang again. I now have it sat on a forecourt for a car dealer to try and sell for me, making me lose a bit more money and them gain a bit of money for not a lot really.

Is the market just slow? Is it just too much money for a private sale? Or is it something else?

Here she is currently:

I'm not convinced the finance is a deal breaker, as I stated I would be happy to clear it at a dealer, but it is a consideration.

The price has dropped a bit since I started looking at selling. Maybe I'll have to drop it a little, as mentioned. Cheers.

Do you need to sell it for a certain price to clear the finance?
Yeah, but I wont drop it too low either as I'd rather not lose out too much if possible, hence having it up with ONO.

Yeah I'm starting to agree, also the price new with better rates on PCP is a factor.

WBAC offered £19k three months ago! A dealer offered £21k, but at the time prices were higher.

Been a bit busy, so only just seen these. Thanks for the replies, well most of them.

I have come to the conclusion it is purely down to money - the price and the deals on new M135i's. The spec is great as standard (as someone mentioned) and the fact its manual will attract people who like to 'drive'. Nav would have added an extra £1500 at order, and the car wouldn't be worth an extra £1500 now, but it could be more saleable, who knows?

With reference to the photo's, I agree with the price sticker etc so its been removed.

The reference to the oil was purely to highlight that its had 2 litres, nothing else. Some M135i's use more oil, some less, but its been removed.

The reference to the Armed Forces was to highlight I live in two places, and I am reliable with a respectful profession. I don't see how this poses a problem, but its been removed.

It has had two new front tyres, but the rears still have plenty of life in them for now. I was going to replace them but if I don't sell then I'll replace them before the bad weather sets in.

I have dropped the price with a view to someone offering me a near offer, hopefully it will entice more potential buyers.

Cheers
Stan

Oh and it was on Autotrader a month or so back; the ad expired and I haven't renewed as of yet.

Six months older, 5 door and same spec, it doesn't have nav either.

I've already had a couple of enquiries since I stored the price, so its looking more promising. If it doesn't sell I'll just keep it til sorting and enjoy it some more.

In fact it's lesser spec s it doesn't have black panel or adaptive.
