Hi all ,3 weeks ago had a second hand engine put in my 120d( timing chain) ,just noticed that after being run for a while ,there is a Vapour coming out the oil cap area.Vapour is the only way to describe it,its not steam or oil.

Taking it back tomorrow to the company that did it
.I have also seen from the stalk indicators that they have overfilled the engine with too much oil...that can cause damage? Need some heads up info ,incase they fob me off.

Also have had a situation of losing water but thats another issue.
Truth be told ,regret paying for this engine should have just scrapped the car and moved on...

That might just be something as simple as you need an new o ring for the cap (or a new cap.)
