Whilst I was in Ocean BMW yesturday picking up an exhaust cam position sensor and O-ring (a cool £101!!) I was looking at a Sakir Orange M4 Convertible. Quite impressed.

A pleasant sales gentleman asked me if I could see myself driving one and if I liked the colour - more of a blue fan really, and I don't have £75k handy in liquid assets either.

But it got me to thinking about lease options.

I wondered if anyone has an idea of what the following would cost to lease? 3 year lease, 10k per year, etc

Is that a standard spec M3 or with the spec I listed?

I ask here because when you list spec on the actual lease companies sites, it is very confusing to do so and the prices seem a lot higher than they should be.

I didn't put heads up display not really sure I would use it? And if it doesn't sit level on the screen it will annoy the hell out of me!

What kind of deposit would you be willing to put down? This will effect the monthlies
around 6k. 2 year lease ie I pick up the car, do upto 10k miles per year then after 24 months I give it back and get a new contract.

Another question, as I own a company can I lease it through that before paying income tax, and how does it affect using it for personal mileage? I do about 80/20 personal/business mileage.

What is the difference between maintenance and non-maintanence? £250 per month difference on an M4 coupe. I thought the car will not need any maintenance anyway in its first 2-3 years as it is under BMW warranty?

It is £250 per MONTH difference on an M4...I can't see a brand new M4 costing that much to service? My 11 year old, 93k e46 doesn't cost £250 a month to service!

No I am saying an M4 with maintainance is £250 a month more than an M4 without maintanance.

See? So is M (I cant spell it therefore it is now referred to as "M") really worth that much extra per month?
