Apologies if this has been asked/answered before, but I've tried the search function and can't seem to find anything.

Purchased a BMW car with 1 Year AUC Warranty back in July. Seem to remember the sales person saying that the 150 point check should include any servicing due within the next 3 months. Any truth to this?

Thanks

Thanks all. Does anyone have a link to any of this? I've looked on BMW.co.uk and can't find anything that relates to service.

One of the service items that has come up is the Brake Fluid. As the car is 3ys old this month this is a bit surprising as I thought it was every 2 years rather than condition based.

Did this change recently? I have an old shape z4 as well and that's every 2 years. Either way, if anyone has a link to the AUC rules/guarantee regarding servicing it would be much appreciated. If it's 3 months then I'll have to pay, if it's 6 then they should cover the brake fluid cost.

Thanks

Thanks everyone. In the end I dug up the service booklet and it seems all of the service items were done before I agreed to buy the car, so I'm presuming they haven't updated the car's computer. Makes sense as the brakes don't feel at all spongy.

Interesting that everything but oil changes are being pushed to 3 years, I'm assuming this is to make the initial 2/3 years lease or PCP look as attractive as possible assuming people are doing lowish mileage.

Will drop into the dealer in the next week or so anyway to confirm.
