Hi All,

Any words of wisdom? Apparently the panoramic sunroof doesn't open - not that it really bothers me, there is also a nasty towbar.

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the comments guys, its actually my brother who is looking for the 535d but i'm helping. Went out for a drive and it didn't feel very quick, upon getting it back he noticed a slight knocking noise from the engine. The traders mechanic said there was a problem with a sensor, £100 to fix but couldn't do it for a few days, so my brother walked away.

Increased budget and off to see this one tomorrow...Private seller who on sounds honest on the phone, apparently it needs nothing, just had new discs and pads all round.

followed by this one if the private car isn't any good.

So the search continues...and the criteria has changed. After more research and realising that sub 12,000 miles per year with regular short trips, there is no point getting a diesel. We are now looking at E61 530i petrols. Up to £11k, less than 90,000 miles, preferably M Sports.

Viewed 2 so far with the panoramic roof and both have had soggy boots. How do you stop the drain holes from blocking?
