E92 335 warning lights

Chaps, recently bought a 335 coupe ('07) and the dash keeps lighting up telling me that an exterior light needs replacing yet when I go outside to check the car all lights are working. Is this just a pre-emptive warning to tell me that the angel eyes are on their way out or something?

Thanks chaps, I'll have to have a closer look at this and inspect the lights further.
