BMW used car warranty VS windscreen wash leak
Discussion
Noticed that my 2010 335d (bought used last year from BMW directly) eats windscreen fluid faster than petrol. Parked the car differently and sure enough large puddle under passenger side front wheel.
Booked in for an investigation but was told that it might not be covered by warranty - since it's a used car warranty. Seems legit? (not to mention they'll charge me £125 if it isn't covered).
Question 2 : if i change to non-runflats (HATE THEM WITH PASSION) is the warranty void?
tia!

Car is used but bought straight from BMW dealer - so BMW used car warranty I assume... never checked!
Well, they had a look and reckon washer bottle has a little crack in it. It leaks very slowly but surely - but all washers (lights and windscreen) work perfectly fine. They didn't have the part in stock but they said it will be covered unless there's external damage to it like someone pointed out. Can't really imagine how'd that happen since it's inside the car. Car in next monday, curious to see what happens.
Cheers about the tyres, for sure ditching runflats when time comes.
