E46 abs dsc, tire indicator

just wondering if you could put my mind at rest. Whilst driving in the snow I had to gun the throttle to get up a hill. The dsc was full off however I think the brakes have overheated and damaged the rear break pad sensors bringing the abs, dsc and flat tire indicator on. This has happened once before in a similar situation and a simple brake pad replacement solved the problem. The only thing is I don't remember if the tire indicator came on last time. A friend who is a mechanic is ordering some new pads for me so I'm hoping it's just the same thing again.

Has anyone else had this problem. He has mentioned something about a TJE which is just making me think that it maybe something more. Someone put my mind at rest.

the dsc was fully off, held the button in so both lights come on.
anyway I drove 50 yards now the road and everything is back to normal. I can only assume that the cars computer had a malfunction ??
