BMW Z4 E89. Why won't it sell??

Hi all,

I have been trying to sell my Z4 for the last 8 weeks, with no luck. only one viewing so far. It's the 35i with the twin turbo 3 litre engine virtually all the options in black and I think it's well priced.

I have tried eBay with a classified ad with best offer and auto trader. Not tried pistonheads yet as there was an issue with my account.

Do people not like the Z4 or is it the larger engine

That's my car on the link posted. I had taken the pictures one evening when's he weather wasn't so good outside.

Thanks for all the comments. Jonsv8, you're right the car was ex bmw demo so it it technically three owners. I'm going to change the pictures for some outside the house in daylight. I took those one rainy night after work and they don't look great compared to some of the others.

I agree it's hard to price from the advertised sale prices, but I would have thought people would call to ask and then make an offer if they like it.

Hopefully with new words and pics someone will pick up the phone, it's a really well cared for car and runs perfectly.

Hi All, you'll be pleased to hear it did sell! With new pictures, It took another 2 months on Autotrader. I think most people with a z4 go for the smaller engines.

I don't think black on black helped but as others point out after trying the two litre cars most are more than happy with the ride and performance.

It was a great car and so quick. I moved with work to the centre of a busy town, so my new mode of transport is walking
