I'm in the process of selling my 330ci convertible and planning to buy another BMW, however I pretty much have no idea what to go for.

I'm trying to avoid going for a car with a high millage or anything made before 2007-08 however with my criteria, there isn't much choice left. I've had a look at E92's and Z4 coupes but nothing excites me that much.

Any suggestions?

What's wrong with your current car? The answer to this might help guide your choice - unless you've fallen into the "newer is better" trap...

Current car has done 136k and it didn't have a very loving previous owner plus I was kinda rushed into buying it, although I have spend decent money and fixed it up but to make it perfect and bring it to my standards I would need to spend more and there's no point in doing that in a 11 year old car with 136k on the clock, also it's a automatic so not much fun, mostly straight line speed.

If I had to decide it would be between the 130 or 335.

The V8 6 series has been very tempting but the running costs would cripple me.

Which running costs specifically?
Tax, petrol, servicing, tyres and god forbid if it breaks down I'm screwed.

Plus the Insurance would kill me. Currently paying £650 on the 330, the man maths just doesn't add up frown
