Off topic from my previous post re my 4 series order...
I'm torn between the 430d and the 435d now.
To give it some perspective, it's on the Alphadrive deal, so the figures are approx. £420 pcm on a 20k miles contract for the 430d and around £450pcm for the same deal on the 435d. Both are X-Drive as there are no S-Drive available.
On the face of it, £30 a month doesn't bother me and the change in overall pace doesn't make too much difference but what about the general feel of them?
Is there much of a change in MPG?
I don't NEED the extra speed and I won't miss £30 and a few £ on extra fuel but I'm just trying to establish whether it's worth it.
Local dealer doesn't have both to drive in this or the 3 series.

Before the order locks in, have you thought about adding M Sport Plus Package to it. A white F32 doesn't look great without sun protection glass.
With the 442 alloys it's minus £5 a month than stock alloys, and M Sport Plus is only £30 considering. its at £1,900 option so only adds £25 a month as the 442 is part of the package. Shame individual leather costs more. Used to £20 a month cheaper than standard leather through Alphadrive.
Also I'd recommend the F36 GC just due to it's every day practically, particular the boot as I never have rear passenger.
I just checked my Alphadrive and the F32 430xd is the cheapest, F32 435xd is only £10 more, F36 435xd GC is £2 more than that, and the F33 435xd convertible is only £8 more than that.

I do like the GC but I've had 3 years of having to drive a large saloon so fancy a coupe for the next 18 months. The fact it's only 18 months is also excellent as it's really not that long until I can change if I find I dislike something - this is also the only reason I stuck with white.
With regards to the pricing differences, I know there will be times I regret not getting the convertible and the sole reason for that was because I prefer the lines of the coupe when the roof is up. The price differences are also exaggerated when you ramp up the mileage, in my case to 30k.
The AlphaDrive scheme is great though isn't it. The OH is awaiting delivery of a fully loaded MINI (XL Media etc) and in some ways I'm more excited to get hold of that.
