Looking for the best lease deal on a 330d xDrive M Sport Touring. Test drove the equivalent models from Audi and others but nothing came close to the 330d - was blown away by it!

In terms of options i'm thinking of the following -

Xenons
M Sport Braking pack
Adaptive suspension (as I hear it's a must - the car I test drove didn't have it though).

Best price on business atm is £418 ex VAT with Nationwide Vehicle Contracts - that includes all the options and is a 36 month term and a 3x initial rental. Tbh I was hoping for less - I need to get the inc VAT cost below £500 if possible.

Also looking at PCP deals and waiting for the BMW main dealer to come back to me but I don't expect them to beat others without a haggle!

Can those of you with lease deals recommend some companies or point me at the best deals plz?

Also what do you think to the above extras?

Cheers

Thanks @welshman but have to agree with @helicopter - I need to keep the cost down as much as possible for leasing.

We thought about heated seats but figure we can do without.

What out of - Xenons, Adaptive Suspension and Braking pack can I really drop? I really like the M sport calipers to keen to keep the braking pack. Car feels like it should have xenons standard hence putting them on.

Is adaptive suspension really necessary? I've read various threads were people are for/against. The car I drove had standard M sport suspension and seemed fine but only got about 5 mins of fast driving on b roads - maybe i'll need another test drive.

Also with the standard m sport suspension can it not be adjusted via the car interface? It seemed like it from the test drive.

Cheers

Thanks for the replies folks - can you explain what you mean about the car being an LCI car? Will it deffo have LEDs? If so then yes I won't need the xenons.

Decided to change my spec slightly so now have -

M sport braking pack
Heated front seats
Adaptive m sports suspension
Xenons

Also been doing the number crunching on business v personal and with the P11D value of this car I'll be better off doing personal lease.

So can you give me your best personal deals please? Looking at PCH rather than PCP.

I'm going to contact Gateway2Lease but I can't see a 330d listed on their site - only the 335.

Nationwide auto contracts will do it at £573 inc VAT including all my options and on a 3+35 payment plan for 12k miles. That includes maintenance as I figured tyres would be expensive being 18's and run flats.

Anyone got any better deals as it seems a bit too expensive to me?

I have just had a 335d M Sport for 4 4 day loan. Thought it was outstanding even in basic spec (no keyless entry is annoying though). Something of a bargain for £288 a month lease.
Nice - it'd have to be the 330d for me for the economy over the 335d. Where did you see it advertised at £288?

Well after a day of getting quotes for personal lease - the cheapest I can get it for is £529 inc VAT on 3+35 payment plan inclusive of all my options and full maintenance. Have attempted to haggle that price down too to sub £500 if possible.

What do you guys think? is this decent?

Am still waiting for bmw lease to come back to me but don't expect them to be this competitive!

Update - got various lease companies competing with one another with a target of ideally below £500 p/m. That would include full maintenance, all my options (£2.1k worth) and be on a 3+35 plan.

What other deals have people had please so I can see if these are any good?

Must haves for me are:

Pro Nav
Heated seats
Memory driver's seat if you share with wife / partner
Pack that includes big brakes and 19 wheels
Adaptive suspension

Oh, and wait for the facelift or beat them down extra hard.

Nice to have:

Pano roof lifts interior
Foldable mirrors if you park in tight spots
Merino leather (makes huge difference but at a very high price)

Great cars.
Thanks - think i've got my ideal spec. Just can't decide on interior trim -

Do I go with standard hex trim with blue finisher (the car will be white) OR brushed aluminum with either pearl or high gloss black finisher?? Decisions decisions!

Cheers

How many miles will you do? If the 335d M sport exists at £288pcm and best your getting a 330d is £500pcm that's nearly an extra 1,800 miles PCM you can drive in the 335d before the 330d has moved off the drive....
Fair point - I would be interested in seeing a link to this deal - it was mentioned but no link. You can bet that is £288 excluding the VAT tho and will be for smaller mileage.

I need 12k miles, maintenance and all my options and I bet that takes it up to near £500. Also what payment plan is that on? Could be on crazy upfront in order to reduce the monthlies. I would love to be proved wrong and get a 335d with my spec for sub £500.

Well the haggle continues - i'm quite enjoying playing lease companies off against BMW themselves! Cheapest least quote is £526 - BMW have offered £628 and chucked in GAP insurance, paint protection and some other crap.

However the BMW deal is for PCP not PCH with only a £1500 deposit.

I've said if they can get closer to £526 and chuck in memory seats amongst some other stuff then I will seriously consider it. A deposit that low on a PCP would actually work out much better for me and i'm not locked in like a lease and can change car if I want to.

What do you lot think?

How many miles per year and the exact spec and term would be helpful.

Sorry here is all the info:

BMW 330d XDrive M Sport Touring

Heated Front Seats
Adaptive M Sport Suspension
M Sport Braking System
Memory Seats
Xenons

Lease deal is 36 months on a 3+35 at £546 p/m (added the memory seats) with a deposit of £1500

BMW have offered 48 months on a 3 initial payments - £628 p/m with a deposit of £1500 - i'm trying to negotiate this down to under £600 and ideally nearer the £500 mark. They are going to chuck in - Maintenance, GAP Insurance, Paint protection and something else that I can't remember!

If BMW can come down then I think personally that is a good deal - what do you think?

Hi guys,

Very sorry for the late reply I have been really busy. Adam and a few others asked me where did I see £288 for the 335d MSport. It was at Central UK Vehichle leasing. Unfortunatley that have put it back up to £408 + vat but it had been £287.99 for about 2-3 weeks (hence why I booked the loan car). There might be a few available. This is the correspondance I had (e-mail addresses removed). 330d was about £5 cheaper from memory and 320d £234 a month.

Hi James,

We have the 335d on a ridiculously good deal!!

I think the lease deal is not bad at all, PCP offer looks rich though, I got a 335d xdrive with 10k worth of extras for £650 a month.

With the 48 month deal you're almost buying the car (£31,644 in payments and deposit over the term) but I've no doubt that there will be a 10k balloon at the end to own.

Edited by Wills2 on Wednesday 27th May 12:18
Ok thanks - in hindsight I agree - 48 months is too long and I've told BMW that. if they can get nearer to £500/£550 on a 36 term with a low (£1500 deposit) then that would sway it.

If they can't - i'll take the lease deal. The lease deal has actually gone up to £550 now because I added memory seats.

Now just can't make my mind up! This is a great offer it appears - not as cheap as the LeasePlanGo one at £546 on a 3+35 plan. Apparently the old model is closing now though and can't be ordered by these lease companies with the factory.

I've asked if the LeasePlanGo one is the MY13 or MY15 model.

So now can't decide between 335 (not driven that one) or the 330d and don't know if I want to wait 12-14 weeks.

Arggh why are there so many options?!

Spoke to BMW again - i've told them they have to get close to £551 on a 330d or 335d with tons of stuff thrown in and on a 36 month plan (PCP) and not 48.

If they do this then i'm likely to go direct with them.

Just want to get one ordered now - done plenty of shopping around!

Yes I stated 12k miles per year - seems about what I do currently in my Audi A4. I've spoken to Gateway2Lease - they were good but couldn't beat other offers.

The best i've had so far is actually better than Scott at Central Car Leasing - £559 p/m for a 335d on a 3+35 payment plan inclusive of all maintenance. Scott came up at £551 but this was on a 2 year lease and his 3 year was a lot more expensive - 2 years is too short imo.

I'm about to sign to be honest as I think i'll struggle to beat this - this is for the new facelift model too with all my options.

I'm going to ask for a deal sweetener or closer to £550 just to make me sign on the dotted line.

Companies i've got quotes off so far are -

Gateway2Lease
Select Contracts
LeasePlanGo
Synergy Automotive (cheapest)
Central Car Leasing
Freedom Contracts
Cameron Clark Leasing

and more who were way out!

Well folks thanks for all your help.

Pretty much set on signing for the lease today - got it at a final price of £564 but that includes the Ferric grey wheels which I specced as an extra.

That is with all maintenance including tyres on 12k miles and 3+35. BMW said they could try to get to £550 but that would be on 48 month PCP - no thanks!

Just checking a few final things - the car comes with business nav which I think will be ok for me - do you need the enhanced Bluetooth though to stream audio from your phone? As this is one feature I definitely need!
